After parting ways with The Healers, Full Moon Records offered to fund a new album. Travis Taylor had a new batch of songs that required a horn section. He called on Alan Turner who organised a great section with Dave Palmer, Gabs Chammah and Rob Chenoweth. The rhythm section of J.J. and Jack was added to the live band and Shaun Duncan was called on for the contrabass sessions. Having worked with Sav in The Healers he was asked if he would consider staying on as lead guitarist. Thankfully he agreed. The team of Mick Wordley and Les Karski was called on once again to engineer and produce. The sessions got underway and The Heat is on!
